Sheena graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a 2:1 honours degree in Recreation and Business Management.  From there Sheena joined Apollo Leisure (UK) Limited as a Manager within their Theatres Division. Sheena worked her way up the ladder and managed a variety of theatres including Dominion Theatre, London and Britain’s largest theatre Hammersmith Apollo, London.

In 1999 Sheena joined the New Millennium Experience Company, the organisation charged with building and operating the Millennium Dome.  Sheena was employed as a Visitor Services Manager to set up safe and efficient operation of Central Arena, Skyscape Cinema and Theatre, exhibitions, services, attractions and events.

Sheena moved on to join Openwide International where she managed the Theatres and Attractions Division.  Sheena was part of the team who successfully won the tender to programme, manage and operate Pavilion Theatre and Pier, Cromer, Norfolk, Spa Pavilion Theatre, Felixstowe, Bournemouth Pier and Bognor Regis Seafront Redevelopment Scheme.

In 2012 Sheena joined London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) as a City Operations Manager responsible for setting up the safe and efficient operations for the externals areas surrounding the North Greenwich Arena (O2).

Sheena brings a diverse knowledge and experience of the theatre and events industry to the New Theatre Royal team.
