1920’s New York. A city full of mobsters, showgirls and dreamers. Rival gangster bosses Fat Sam & Dandy Dan are at loggerheads. The custard pies are flying and the all-ne ‘Splurge Guns’ have given Dandy Dan the upper hand. But can Bugsy Malone help Fat Sam’s gang defend their Speakeasy?
Based on Alan Parker’s world-famous movie which launched the careers of Scott Baio and Jodie Foster, this new production will feature over 100 talented young people from across Portsmouth.
Packed with instantly recognisable songs from Oscar winner Paul Williams including Fat Sam’s Grand Slam, My Name is Tallulah, You Give a Little Love and of course Bugsy Malone.
Following the spectacular 2024 production of The Wizard of Oz, Theatretrain Portsmouth is proud to return with this iconic and uplifting full-length comedy musical, complete with a live band, stunning set and a ton of splurge!
