You may recognise Rhys Darby from your TV screens. He first captured audiences as Murray, the loveable, but ultimately inept manager in HBO’s Flight of the Conchords. He has gone on to star in a plethora of TV and film roles, from Yes Man and Pirate Radio (The Boat that Rocked) to more recently, Nigel in the Jumanji reboots.
The Kiwi icon returns to the stage with a brand new stand-up show for 2025. In a world full of AI and Robot tech can a simple dad with slightly tight jeans stay relevant? Ancient Astronaut Theorists say yes! Rhys hopes to prove that right now a touch of very human silliness is more important than ever. Perhaps his unique human skills, once thought of as absurd, might just be useful after all!
