Wink Wink Nudge Nudge, ready for a right ‘ole Pompey knees up? Celebrating the camp and kitsch with bursting sequin seams and blow up animals we invite you to KNEES UP!
Knees Up! Is a show featuring entertainment so light you’ll be more than happy to spread this on your toast.
We’ve lip-synced our way through London nightclubs, strutted around in heels at art galleries and travelled the length and breadth of the country with just a suitcase. But now we’re back, back BACK again! And this time its mainstage baby!
Led by Pompey Dinlo ‘The Fabulous Josh’ and Queen of Portsmouth Cherry Liquor they invite you into our house and take you on a journey through their favourite local and national cabaret acts. Joining them will be some more of Portsmouth’s frag superstars: Azure Thang, Tayris Mongardi, Loretta Lebonke. This dazzling lineup of queens will ensure the energy remains sky-high as they take you by the hand and lead you through a night of unforgettable entertainment.
Its glitzy! its glam! its like Saturday night television show, in the heart of Downtown Pompey, swing by, grab a cocktail, wear a sparkly top and take a seat for the most glam show in town!
On Friday night, Portsmouth’s very own Bradley Jago graces the stage with his signature sound, delivering “queer soul from a queer soul.” A rising star in the music scene, Bradley’s powerful and passionate performance is sure to captivate audiences.
Leading the charge on Saturday night is none other than Joe Black—the master of cabaret chaos, musical comedy, and vaudevillian villainy. Expect a night of theatrical brilliance packed with mischief and mayhem as Joe Black takes centre stage for an unforgettable headline performance.
Adding to the excitement, the event also features special guest acts showcasing the incredible diversity of Portsmouth’s artistic community:
- 432 Nomads – Dynamic and high-energy performances that will leave you in awe.
- Portsmouth Chinese Dancing Group – A stunning display of cultural elegance and tradition.
- Solent Gay Men’s Chorus – Harmonizing voices to bring heart and soul to the evening.
