Confident, exquisitely crafted and, most importantly, satisfyingly funnyThe Evening Standard

About the event

Despite extensive grooming for more serious careers at Eton and Oxford, Ivo (now 33) has spent his entire adult life on the stand-up circuit, winning So You Think You’re Funny? aged 18 in 2009. He has since established himself as, if not the UK’s poshest, then certainly its most apologetically posh comedian. With a bumbling charm to snare audiences of all ages, he’s detailed the various developments in his relationships/neuroses over eight sell-out solo shows, including 2019’s The Game of Life, which received nominations for Best Show and Best Joke at that year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

Now he is back out on tour with Grand Design. Fumbling a flute on Would I Lie To You, combusting over a Cork accent on BBC Radio 5 Live, scaring Diane from the Traitors with a T-shirt of her face. What (yoghurt and) banana skins await Ivo next? No ball games, no blind alleys, no backstage printers this year: just one of the best stand-ups of his generation back to prove he’s not just Taskmaster’s yardstick for failure but “on this form, as funny as anyone in town.” (Times).

Age guidance: Strictly 14+ due to swearing and adult content.
