About the event
Young dancers aged 9 – 19 are invited to audition for New Theatre Royal’s annual pantomime which is Snow White in 2025. This is their chance to perform on stage with a professional company to tens of thousands of audience members.
Jordan Productions will be casting around 16 performers (plus 8 for the reserves team).
Do dancers need to register? Yes. Children MUST have registered for the auditions through the Jordan Productions website ahead of time and have the necessary permissions (parent and teacher) prior to auditioning and must commit to the entire rehearsal and performance schedule.
Do dancers need a routine prepared? No. The professional choreographer will teach auditionees a routine and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and rehearse the routine until everyone is happy. Dancers will then be split into smaller groups to rehearse and perform the piece they have learned.
What to wear: Clothes that are comfortable to dance in and either trainers or dance shoes.
What to bring: Water bottle, registration form signed by headteacher (if you haven’t already returned it).
When to arrive: Please arrive at the registration time you have been allocated.
