Sally is the Manager of Creative Industries Apprenticeships for The Chichester College Group. Sally has over 25 years experience as a Stage and Company Manager in the UK theatre industry. She started her career as an actress in South Africa and moved into Stage Management after moving to the UK in the late 90’s. Sally is truly passionate about the arts, theatre in particular, and believes that a first class arts education is the key to the growth and success of the industry. Supporting that work with thriving local venues like the NTR is the cornerstone to maintaining high quality work and ensuring the longevity of the industry.
Sally set up and continues to run a Technical Youth Theatre program at the Chichester Festival Theatre where she also works as their Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator. She looks after their in-house apprentices as well as managing a National Apprenticeship programme that works with 13 regional theatres across the country.
Sally has enjoyed supporting the NTR with their recent Apprentices and is delighted to be on the board of Trustees. She is looking forward to getting to know the venue more intimately.
