Kate Pearce worked as a journalist for many years before developing a career in communications. She currently works with Business South as Head of Strategy and is Head of Communications at the Queens Hotel in Southsea.
Kate is a great believer in the power of partnership. She co-chairs the Shaping Portsmouth Cruise Partnership and was a founder of the Eat the Island initiative. In 2024 she was honoured to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Inspirational Women awards run by Pamodzi Creatives.
