David is a chartered accountant and has worked for both a large international accountancy firm and a number of companies in the retailing, leisure and banking industries. He was Director of Risk, Control and Accounting for the retail banking division of Lloyds Banking Group. In addition, he has been a non-executive director of various NHS bodies, including Portsmouth Hospitals, as well as a trustee of a Hampshire based charity and a director of a local housing association.
