Adrift Performance Makers is a shifting constellation of artists working in the gaps, borders and pauses between disciplines.

We enjoy asking questions.
Sometimes the answers come back in the form of
  • translations of international texts as circus, music or physical theatre
  • immersive installations of poetry
  • sound interventions in the city

And sometimes we let go of answers altogether.

Adrift Performance Makers is led by Konstantinos Thomaidis and Natalia Theodoridou.

Konstantinos is a UK-based theatre maker that journeys between physical theatre and site-specific opera. He has previously worked as the Head of Movement of Opera in Space (ACE-funded), a core member of Waving Not Drowning! Physical Theatre (Grotowski Institute), and an Associate Artist of Experience Vocal Dance Company (London and NYC). On weekday mornings, he makes new discoveries lecturing at the University of Portsmouth or researching voice as the joint founder of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Voice Studies.

Natalia maps new worlds that exist in the interstices between fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. Her writing has appeared in many publications in Greece, the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom, including KROnlineInterfictionsClarkesworldLitro, and more. Most recently, some of her words have been performed in Stabat Mater: Fragments (Chelsea Arts Collective) and the Schema Ektos Axona platform in Greece. Natalia is also a recovering scholar whose interest in media & cultural studies has led her to years of uprootedness in Bali, Chicago and Heidelberg.
