Kathleen loves dancing and Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, but when the bombs fall, she must swap her life in London for the farms and fields of the countryside.

Dancing in My Dreams is inspired by the many children whose lives were changed for ever by the experience of living in war time Britain. With songs from the 1930's and movement inspired by Hollywood, this enchanting play embraces the harsh reality of being an evacuee whilst exposing the new found freedom of life in the British countryside.
