Spymonkey's Moby Dick
Tue 23 & Wed 24 February at 7.30pm Spymonkey's Moby Dick is a glorious mis-telling of the Herman Melville novel. Four actors fi nd themselves trapped in the belly of a literary monster. Will Ahab's thirst for revenge be unhinged by the well-meaning but staggeringly inept attentions of his crew? Now that he has found true love, is Ishmael still fated to be the sole survivor of the Pequod? What does a Bavarian cannibal harpooneer eat? And how does a mermaid figurehead get pregnant? With their dark, edgy physical comedy rooted 'somewhere between Monty Python, the Marx Brothers and Samuel Beckett' (The Houston Chronicle), and a quartet of performers from Spain, Germany and England, Spymonkey have proved to be a truly international phenomenon, enjoyed by and accessible to a wide range of international audiences. "Gloriously anarchic, constantly entertaining. Inspired comic misrule. Moby Dick will give you a whale of a time" The Times See a sneak preview of the show here Ticket Information
