In celebration of Valentines Day, Portsmouth City Council in association with the New Theatre Royal are getting all loved up.
From the beautiful balcony of our cafe, opera singers will be performing classic love songs.
Write a love letter to be posted into our Victorian post box which will be outside the theatre. You can pick up an entry form to fill in from the Box Office, or bring in your own letter. These letters will be bound into a beautiful book and displayed in the City Museum.
Confess a secret love, remember those no longer with us, or propose in a unique and exciting way!
Please pop into the Box Office to arrange proposals – remember ladies, it’s a Leap Year!
Christies Flowers and Coco Chocolates will be on hand selling gifts on Guildhall Square, and there will also be lovely prizes to be won including a romantic meal for two at the Royal Beach Hotel!
