The New Theatre Royal are working with Portsmouth FC to create the performance The Missing Years, celebrating the team that won the infamous 1939 FA cup and what happened to them and our city in the following war years.
We Need You!
The Missing Years is a large onstage performance with choral pieces and songs to set the period. Created from short scenes about the players’ lives and Portsmouth during the war mixed with projections of contemporary footage and photographs.
We are looking for actors, singers and musicians to bring these stories to life.
(All ages are welcome)
Rehearsals will be on Thurs 24 & Fri 25 February (early evening) and Sun 6 March.

Special arrangements for schools can be made to have rehearsals at the theatre during term time.
