The Ladies of Ogroshor Bengali Women’s Group are holding a photographic exhibition at the Central Libary, Portsmouth, as part of the A Celebration of Bangladesh.
The photos in the exhibition have been taken by members of the Ogroshor Bengali Women’s Group on their visits to Bangladesh. They show everyday life in Bangladesh and it’s countryside.
Alongside the eyeopening photos the exhibition also contains many interesting facts such as due to it’s high number of rivers (over 800) it is predicted that as sea-levels rise Bangladesh will loose 20% of its land.
The exhibition is free and runs until the end of February at the Central Libary, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth.
